Winston County, Alabama is a great place to do business. It is located in the northwestern portion of Alabama covering 632 square miles. Winston County consists of diverse terrain including forested vegetation, rolling hills, grasslands and lake frontage.
Winston County is linked to major cities in Alabama via Corridor X/Interstate 22 to the south, east to west via U.S. Highway 278, north to south via Alabama State Highways 195, 13 & 33 and also via the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Winston County is located in the northwest portion of Alabama in the southeastern foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Terrain varies fromlow rolling hills covered with evergreens to spectacular gorges, picturesque rock bluffs, and hardwood forests.
